Royal Wedding and running

The wedding of William and Kate took place a couple of weeks ago which was considered to be one of the best event insurance wedding ever in this year. I had to work but there was a street party on our road. Victoria decided not to attend once she eyed up the other party goers. She thought we wouldn’t fit in and I agreed once I arrived home. Bit too chavvy for us. So that happened and then Osama Bin Laden got shot by the Americans in Pakistan. I suppose it’s better that he’s been found but it really annoyed me the way the American public celebrated like they’d won a football match. They really don’t help their cause.

On the home front, Victoria is nearing due date and we have been given a cot by Wriggly. I have started running again on a regular basis. Once a week I do something called Parkrun in Hove Park. It’s a 5km run round the park and you get timed and given a stats breakdown on the website later the same day. It’s fun and I took Hal and Jev along a week last Saturday. They both did really well but Jevan has the makings of a real runner. He had loads of energy left at the end and did it in a time of 28.31.

I have been at court this last week for a final session about access. I get the boys for a week at Easter, a week at Christmas and two weeks in the summer, plus they stay over here every other weekend. Not bad really. There’s more I could shout about but I can wait to see if Debbie will acquiesce over the coming years.
